Where We Came From
The Cuero Community Foundation was formed from remaining assets of the Cuero Industrial Foundation, a local non-profit entity that is no longer in existence.
The organization’s purpose is to promote, build, and oversee permanent endowments for the support of charitable, scientific, literary, or educational endeavors in Cuero community and the surrounding communities.
Cuero Community Foundation is soliciting support from the public to continue its effort of giving back to the community.
Where We Are Growing
The Cuero Community Foundation is dedicated to strengthening our community now and for future generations. The Foundation hopes to be the preferred avenue for donors interested in enhancing philanthropic efforts and making a lasting contribution in Cuero and the surrounding communities.
The first goal of the Cuero Community Foundation is to connect people who care with causes that match to enhance our area. Part of our job is to find out what our donors specifically care about and to inform them of the options the Foundation can provide in fulfilling their philanthropic priorities.
The second goal is to identify the causes that matter in our community including:
- Education
- Health
- Housing
- Entertainment
- Recreation
- Arts
The Foundation is constantly assessing local needs so that we may direct our limited resources to those that are considered most vital. We anticipate working with other foundations and agencies that strive to meet local needs so we may have the greatest impact.
