Cuero Community Foundation Demonstrates Commitment to Cuero’s Youth Development with $5,000 Contribution to The Boys and Girls Club of Cuero

Cuero,TX – The Cuero Community Foundation proudly recently made a significant contribution

of $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Cuero, reaffirming its dedication to supporting local

youth and fostering community growth.


Megan Boehl, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Cuero, expressed her gratitude

for the $5,000 donation from the Cuero Community Foundation, emphasizing the Foundation's

steadfast commitment to shaping the future of Cuero by empowering the next generation

through education, mentorship, and recreational opportunities. "The Cuero Community

Foundation's tremendous and much-needed support of our Club is a testament to their

dedication to our community's youth. We are profoundly grateful for their contribution, which will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on the Club and the children we serve."


Bill Blackwell, CCF Board President, shared, “The Boys and Girls Club of Cuero is a

cornerstone of our community, playing a pivotal role in providing a safe and supportive

environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Cuero Community Foundation recognizes

the vital role they play in Cuero and we are proud to support them.”

Debra Baros, CCF Board Vice President, said, “This donation aims to bolster the Club's ongoing efforts to enhance educational programs, expand recreational activities, and offer mentorship opportunities that contribute to the holistic development of our youth.”

ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of young people in our community," said Blackwell.

The funds provided by the Cuero Community Foundation will directly support the Boys and Girls Club of Cuero's initiatives, said Blackwell, ensuring that they can continue to provide a nurturing and empowering environment for the youth in our community.


Representatives from the Cuero Community Foundation presented the $5,000 check to the

Boys and Girls Club of Cuero on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Club’s location at 1015 E.

Courthouse Street, Cuero.
